Planning is underway for a 4-week Summer CodeOrlando Intensive Tech Immersion program in July of 2019. The program will serve 8th - 12th graders, and will be free, based on need. We are targeting students from underrepresented communities.
Participants will engage in hands-on project based learning with emphasis on coding and computer science skills as well as visit local colleges, tech development companies, and organizations using technology to help people and our planet. They will receive valuable instruction from Aaron Gordon on mindfulness, presentation skills, and life skills. Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of Orlando based technology companies such as EA Sports and Advent Health.
On December 6, 2018, Aaron surprised local students at the OCPS ACE Academy, a community partner school, with a hands-on robotics programming experience. The Gordon Family Giving Foundation is providing funding for the program to be taught throughout the year as well as to purchase equipment needed.

Every summer, Aaron and his family host basketball camps and clinics, free of charge for kids in need who might not otherwise have an opportunity to participate. Camps are held in Orlando Florida and through the Bay Area in California.
Along with The Drew Gooden Foundation, Aaron helped to ensure that local children had happy holidays by giving away special gifts at the the annual toy drive. Aaron participates in Thanksgiving and Holiday Events in the OrlandoFlorida area as well as throughout the Bay Area in California.
Aaron and The Gordon Family hosted twenty kids from the My New Red Shoes program, along with their siblings and families for a back to school shopping spree at the Westgate San Jose Nike Store and the The Gap clothing store. The kids were able to pick out brand new school and sports shoes, as well as coats, back to school clothes and backpacks so they could return to school with confidence.
